Dutch electronic music producer Martin Garrix, whose real name is Martijn Gerard Garritsen, will headline two major music festivals in India this December. Garrix along with his French counterpart DJ Snake aka William Sami Etienne Grigahcine are the two big names announced so far for the eleventh edition of electronic dance music festival Sunburn, which will be held for the second year in a row in Pune, specifically the Pimpri-Chinchwad area on the outskirts of the city, between Thursday, December 28 and Sunday, December 31. Early bird tickets, priced at Rs5,120 (general admission) and Rs8,704 (VIP) per person, are being sold on Bookmyshow.com.

Sunburn’s former home Goa will host Time Out 72, a new multi-genre music festival that will be held between Wednesday, December 27 and Saturday, December 29, on Vagator Beach and will be headlined by American pop singer Jason DeRulo on the first day and by Garrix on the third day. The fest is a venture by Ahmedabad-based companies Waterlemon Events and Sudarshan Entertainment World. Early bird tickets priced at Rs3,999 per person are being sold on Insider.in. Details of the rest of the line-ups and venues for both Sunburn and Time Out 72 are yet to be announced.
