New Restaurants and Cafes: Haka in Fort, Tea Villa Cafe in Thane
• Casual-dining Chinese restaurant Haka is slated to open in Fort on Wednesday, February 22. Menu highlights at the 1,000 square feet venue include chilli lamb; ‘dynamite’ prawns; chicken schezwan sizzler; soba noodles; Hunan chicken; fish in hot garlic sauce; crispy honey noodles; and date pancakes with ice cream. • Bucha Bar, a house-run kombucha ‘brewery’ and delivery service, was launched in the city last week. Entrepreneur Harsh Negandhi set up Bucha Bar after acquiring kombucha culture on a trip to Goa. Negandhi brews a black tea and green tea kombucha, priced at Rs150 per 250ml bottle. Delivery is free within South Mumbai (delivery charges in other parts of the city depend on the location). • Tea Villa Cafe, the chain of tea salons with outposts in Bandra West, Vile Parle, Andheri West and Chembur, has opened in Thane.
